The weather-resistant wicker featured in POLYWOOD ®Jefferson Woven and Presidential Woven Rocking Chairs is made from the same type of High-density polyethylene (HDPE for short) plastic as our genuine POLYWOOD lumber. HDPE is an extremely durable plastic that resists stains, sun exposure, salt spray, and blizzard conditions.

Yes.
Does the wicker material come with a warranty?
Yes, our woven material is warranted to not fail structurally, crack, unravel, fade excessively, or rot for five years of residential use.
Do you offer replacement woven seats and backs?
Yes, you can purchase woven seat and back replacement sets that can be attached to the genuine POLYWOOD lumber frame that you already have. Just email hello@polywood.com to get your order started.
How do I clean POLYWOOD wicker furniture?
It’s easy! All you need is soap, water, and a soft-bristle brush. Gently scrub the wicker and rinse with fresh water. You can let it air-dry or wipe it off with a towel.
Can POLYWOOD wicker be painted, stained, or waterproofed?
We do not recommend painting, staining, or waterproofing our wicker material. It will void the warranty and the material used to create the woven seats and backs is resistant to weather, water, stains, and other environmental stressors.
